2. Final Reflection Questions

2.1 What have I learnt in this module?

I’ve learned the fundamentals of design theory and how each principle plays a crucial role in the design process. Understanding these principles has helped me make more informed design choices.

2.2 What did I enjoy the most?

What I enjoyed most was the creative freedom to design something based on my own interests rather than being restricted to a fixed prompt. This made the process more engaging and personal.

2.3 What did I not enjoy the most?

On the other hand, I didn’t enjoy the early development stages as much, mainly because I wasn’t satisfied with my first two drafts. However, this pushed me to revisit the recorded lectures and refine my understanding of the design principles, which ultimately helped improve my final outcome.

2.4 What have I learnt about myself through this module?

One thing I’ve realized about myself is that I put in more effort when a project aligns with my interests. If the topic is something I'm unfamiliar with, I tend to struggle more. It’s something I know I need to work on. I want to get better at stepping out of my comfort zone and staying motivated even when a project is unfamiliar.

2.5 What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

One thing that has changed is my approach to time management. I’ve been making a conscious effort to start my work earlier instead of leaving things to the last minute. However, my way of documenting my process has not changed. I still prefer keeping things concise, professional, and sometimes personal.

2.6 What are my aspirations?

Moving forward, I hope to apply these design principles to future projects as I work toward a career in graphic design. This module has given me a stronger foundation, and I plan to keep building on it.

Lectures & Activities     2. Instructions     3. Process 1. Lectures & Activities Week 1 Mr. Shamsul gave a brief introduction of the module and what's to be expected in the coming weeks. In regards to the first task, we were to come up with at least 4 ideas/themes and choose 1 to settle with through the entire continuous project. We were also advised to install Adobe Animate for an activity next week. Week 2 I presented my ideas for the project and decided on 'Manual Coffee Brewing.'
