6. Reflection

Illustration and Visual Narrative has been a mix of fun and stress. I’ve enjoyed learning new Adobe Illustrator tools, especially for creating characters like Hyde and his environment. Designing the poster was a great experience, as I got to experiment with perspective and other techniques to improve the visual appeal.

The webcomic assignment, however, was the most stressful. I struggled with some technical skills and misunderstood parts of the brief. Still, working on the cover for the webcomic was enjoyable and allowed me to explore my creativity.

Overall, I’ve gained valuable skills, and the experience has been both challenging and rewarding.

In regards to the first task, we were to come up with at least 4 ideas/themes and choose 1 to settle with through the entire continuous project. We were also advised to install Adobe Animate for an activity next week. Week 2 I presented my ideas for the project and decided on 'Manual Coffee Brewing.'
